The Post's Athlete of the Week: Vote on this week's best high school sports performances

Welcome to Athlete of the Week voting from The Palm Beach Post!

The poll is open until noon Friday.

Congratulations to our latest winner, Morgan Mints of Seminole Ridge girls lacrosse. The senior scored three goals and tallied an assist in an 8-4 victory over Dwyer.

Each winner will be awarded a one-of-a-kind Athlete of the Week shirt provided by BSN SPORTS. Winners will be contacted weekly. Nominations are accepted via email or phone but will be selected by staff in the absence of submission.

Baseball: Tony Bieber, Palm Beach Gardens — Junior tallied three hits, including a double, and two runs in a 10-9 victory over Forest Hill

Softball: Lillian Severson, Berean Christian — Freshman put together a four-hit performance, adding three runs scored and an RBI in a 17-2 victory over Atlantic Christian

Boys lacrosse: Chase Lofurno, Cardinal Newman — Sophomore scored four goals in an 8-7 victory over Holy Trinity

Girls lacrosse: Gabriela Garrido, Palm Beach Gardens — Junior scored all four goals in a 4-3 victory over Jupiter Christian

Boys track and field: Casey Sangely, Spanish River — Sophomore split first and second place in the 1600 and 3200-meter events with brother Preston to help the Spanish River boys claim first in the Palm Beach County Championship

Girls track and field: Akari Marshall, Benjamin — Sophomore was a double winner in the 100 and 200 meter events to help the Buccaneers clinch a county championship title

Flag football: Gianna Granda, Jupiter — Senior caught four passes for 124 yards and two scores in a 22-7 win over Suncoast

Weightlifting: Frankie Vomero, Palm Beach Central — Senior placed first in traditional and Olympic lifts at the district championships in the 199 weight class
