Vote for Mississippi girls high school athlete of the week April 1-5

There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for April 1-5

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Nominations

Charlotte Mostert, DeSoto Central: Mostert was 4-for-5 with five RBIs and three runs in DeSoto Central's wins over Lewisburg and Horn Lake.

Bella Pierce, Northwest Rankin: Pierce pitched 10⅓ innings, recording 15 strikeouts and allowing zero runs in Northwest Rankin's wins over Petal and Madison Central.

Blakely Slay, George County: Slay was 5-for-10 with four RBIs, two runs and two stolen bases in George County's games against Long Beach and Hernando.

Lola Steinwinder, South Jones: Steinwinder was 6-for-9 with two runs and an RBI in South Jones' wins over Brookhaven and North Pike.

Leona Klaire Stokes, Lewisburg: Stokes was 3-for-3 with two home runs, two RBIs and two runs in Lewisburg's 12-5 win over Southaven.
