After saying he was going to stay at Oregon for his final year, small forward Jadrian Tracey has changed his mind and will enter the transfer portal.
This is just one more roster spot head coach Dana Altman will have to fill for the 2025-26 season. It was thought Tracey would be a possible starter for next year's team, but now that obviously won't be the case.
It's definitely a blow to the plans for next season as the Ducks will have to replace the likes of TJ Bamba, Supreme Cook, Mookie Cook, Ra'Heim Moss and possibly Nate Bittle. The Oregon center has declared for the NBA draft, but will maintain his eligibility for a fifth season.
As for Tracey, he averaged 7.2 points a game in his two seasons at Oregon. He shot 48 percent from the field this season, including 34 percent from the three-point line.
For much of his career at Oregon, he was the sixth man, although he did start 16 games this season. He played 21 minutes per game. The Ducks finished 25-10 and were bounced out of the NCAA tournament in the second round after a close loss to Arizona.
