A former five-star Oklahoma Sooners signee from the Lincoln Riley era is on the move once more.
Former Oklahoma five-star wide receiver Trejan Bridges announced on social media that he's entering the transfer portal.
Bridges left Oklahoma following charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Bridges and another former Sooner, Mikey Henderson, pled guilty and received probation after attending a "prison boot camp," according to The Oklahoman.
The Former five-star wide receiver spent the 2024 season at Central Arkansas and had a productive season, recording 53 catches for 748 yards this season with six touchdowns.
His career never really got on track at Oklahoma. Bridges was part of Lincoln Riley's 2019 recruiting class. In 15 games with the Sooners, Bridges recorded nine receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns. He was a part of a recruiting class that featured Spencer Rattler, Jadon Haselwood, Theo Wease, and Bridges. Each of those former five-star prospects finished their careers somewhere other than Oklahoma.
Bridges has the talent and will have opportunities at the FBS level and could even land a role with a Power Four team in the transfer portal.
