Mar. 31—BEMIDJI — The Bemidji State men's hockey team has its first player in the transfer portal this season.
Sophomore forward Rhys Chiddenton entered on Monday afternoon. The Campbellville, Ontario, native had four assists in 17 games for the Beavers during the 2024-25 season.
Chiddenton played in a more elevated role as a fourth-line freshman during the 2023-24 season. He scored two goals and had six assists in 23 games.
Chiddenton was the 36th CCHA player to enter the transfer portal since it opened.
No other Bemidji State men's players have entered as of Monday evening. Women's hockey sophomore defenseman Riley Reeves and freshman Julia Zielińska entered the portal two weeks ago.
