The Xavier men's basketball roster is back down to just two players.
Forward Lassina Traore has entered the NCAA's transfer portal, according to Pete Nakos of On3Sports.

Traore was slated to start at center for Xavier this year before suffering a season-ending knee injury in an intrasquad scrimmage at Cintas Center Oct. 9.
Traore was in attendance for Richard Pitino's formal introduction as Xavier's head coach on Tuesday.
Traore committed to Xavier last April.
Traore was a two-time all-conference selection at Long Beach State and enters the transfer portal with one year of eligibility remaining. Over two seasons with Long Beach State, Traore averaged 12.4 points and 10.4 rebounds in 68 games and helped lead the Beach to an unlikely run to the NCAA Tournament in 2024.
Traore is the sixth Musketeer from last season to enter the portal, joining Ryan Conwell, Dailyn Swain, John Hugley, Cam Fletcher and Trey Green.
Conwell (Louisville), Swain (Texas) and Fletcher (High Point) have committed elsewhere.
