During the second weekend of the 2025 SEC baseball season, there were many notable takeaways throughout the conference.
This past weekend, there were few SEC teams who impressed more than the Georgia Bulldogs, who now sit at 5-1 in conference play following a sweep at Florida in which they outscored the Gators a combined 40-13 in Gainesville.
In addition to the Bulldogs, each of Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas were also among the top performing teams this past weekend, all three of which picked up big series' wins as well. As a result, each of those four teams mentioned above now feature at the top of the conference's regular season standings after two weekends, but how does the remainder of the SEC shake out?
Following the second SEC weekend series of the 2025 season, here are the updated conference standings coming out of this past week's action.
Updated SEC baseball standings
- T-1.Georgia, Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee (5-1)
- T-5. Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss (4-2)
- 11. Kentucky (2-4)
- T-12. South Carolina, Mississippi State (1-5)
- T-14. Florida, Texas A&M, Missouri (0-6)
Taking a look ahead, the SEC is set to host a few of college baseball's top series' this upcoming weekend yet again, one of the biggest of which will come in Tuscaloosa when Alabama hosts Oklahoma. A few other weekend series' to keep an eye on are Georgia hosting Auburn in Athens, as well as Vanderbilt hosting Arkansas.
