Thirteen track, baseball, softball athletes up for the Public Opinion Athlete of the Week

Winter's late push put a little delay on the spring high school season in northeastern South Dakota.

Eventually, the seasons will get going.

In the past couple of weeks, there's still been an indoor softball tournament, a handful of indoor track meets and a couple of baseball games to give us a list of candidates for the Public Opinion Athlete of the Week poll.

In fact, there are 13 of them. Now, it's up to you to decide the winner. Voting continues through midnight on Sunday.

Congratulations goes out to Kyler Carlson of Estelline-Hendricks for winning the Public Opinion High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year poll from last week.
