Texas A&M basketball lands commitment from Kansas transfer Zach Clemence

Texas A&M men's basketballlanded reinforcements in the paint Sunday, with Kansas forward Zach Clemence announcing his commitment to the program.

Clemence is entering his redshirt senior season after averaging 1.4 points and 1.4 rebounds a game as a junior. Formerly the third-ranked recruit in Texas according to 247Sports, Clemence is a San Antonio native who finished his high school career at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas.

Texas A&M lost a sizable chunk of their roster after eight seniors graduate. In addition, former coach Buzz Williams departed to become the new Maryland head coach, leading Pharrel Payne and Solomon Washington to transfer with him.

Aggies coach Bucky McMillan still has work to when it comes to rebuilding the roster. His first commitment came from junior guard Jacari Lane.
