Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce discusses his ongoing work in the community

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce continues his dedication to helping the community. His ongoing efforts to provide resources through his non-profit, 87 & Running.

During the recent episode of New Heights, Kelce addressed any false information about his work in the community.

"I gotta make a little statement in the 'don't believe everything you read, kids' category or nice realm that you see online," Kelce said "Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not, and I'm not even gonna talk about it specifically. I don't want to bring any more attention to that whole nonsense and article and all that stuff."

Social media buzzed from a rumor regarding Kelce and his foundation, forcing the ten-time Pro Bowler to set the record straight.

"To know exactly what I'm doing in the community, just go to 87running.org." We're always trying to get out there and get in the Kansas City communities and the Cleveland community," said Kelce. "But this time, I wasn't doing what was falsely claimed by the social channels or the outlets posting all this AI stuff. So, I just wanted to set the record straight."

87 & Running in Kansas City helps provide teens with the resources and opportunities to explore careers in STEM, learn entrepreneurial skills, and gain real-world experience.

Kelce was a nominee for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year award last season, and he continues to improve the community through his efforts off the field.
