When is the 2025 NFL schedule slated to release?

The 2025 opponents are set for the New England Patriots, but the exact dates of those games are still to be determined. It has left some fans wondering when the NFL schedule will officially be released.

There isn't an official date as of now, but the expectation is that the release date will be sometime around mid-May. At first glance at the list of opponents, the schedule looks significantly easier than the one the Patriots had last year.

Of course, that could change if the teams overachieve once games start being played.

Along with the AFC East, the Patriots are also slated to face teams from the NFC South, AFC North, NFC East, AFC West and AFC South divisions.

The next major event on the Patriots' itinerary is the 2025 NFL draft.

Day 1 of the three-day event is slated for April 24. The Patriots currently own the No. 4 overall pick of the draft, and they'll be picking behind the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. They could pick the next Patriots star of the future at No. 4 or trade down for more draft picks.

Everything seems to be on the table for a Patriots team desperately hoping to bounce back from two consecutive 4-13 seasons.
