Colorado State men's basketball lands one of top-rated transfer portal guards

Marist's Josh Pascarelli will join the Colorado State men's basketball program.

A high-scoring guard who is rated as one of the top available in the transfer portal will join the Colorado State men's basketball program.

Marist's Josh Pascarelli will transfer to CSU. He announced his commitment on X Friday night.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Pascarelli recently completed his sophomore season at Marist. He averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

Pascarelli was named first-team all-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Over two seasons at Marist he played in 59 games (starting 57) and averaged 13.5 points per game while shooting 39% from 3-point range.

He's rated as a four-star transfer by 247Sports, which has Pascarelli as the No. 4 combo guard in the portal (two spots ahead of departing CSU guard Kyan Evans).
