Apr. 4—SNYDER — The Odessa College softball team cruised past Western Texas College in a doubleheader, winning by scores of 9-0 and 8-4 Thursday on the road.
Hadyn Milley got the victory in the circle for the Lady Wranglers (25-4 overall, 6-0 in Western Junior College Athletic Conference) in the first game as Odessa College took a 3-0 lead in the second inning and didn't look back.
In the second game, the Lady Wranglers took a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning and then made it 7-0 in the top of the fifth before the Lady Westerners scored four unanswered runs.
Odessa College pitcher Jayda Lorigan was credited with the victory.
Odessa College will close out the series against Western Texas College with a doubleheader beginning at noon Today at the Wrangler Softball Complex.
