Apr. 3—Odessa College's Avery Terpsma and Haydn Milley were named this week's Western Junior College Athletic Conference Softball Players of the Week.
Terpsma was named the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.
She batted .727 with two triples, two home runs and nine RBIs.
Terpsma scored eight runs as well.
Milley was named the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.
She posted a 3-0 record for the Lady Wranglers last week against Clarendon College.
Through her three appearances, she worked nine innings and allowed just one hit and no earned runs, while striking out 16 opposing batters.
She yielded just one walk last week.
Odessa College is currently 23-4 overall, 4-0 in WJCAC and ranked No. 9 in the country.
