PEORIA — Bradley basketball senior wing Christian Davis entered the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday "with the hope of being granted another year of eligibility," he wrote on social media.
Davis is appealing to the NCAA for another year of eligibility. Though believed to be a longshot, he entered the transfer portal while awaiting a verdict.
Braves reserve center Goanar Biliew also entered the transfer portal. He was awarded an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA under its new rule to compensate players who used eligibility at the JUCO level.
"The best years of my life have been the years I've been at Bradley," Davis wrote. "I am eternally thankful to this program, my coaches, my teammates, and I am so incredibly thankful to this community. You all embraced me and treated me like family. Anyone who gets to be a part of this is extremely lucky.
"You all gave me so much, and I hope I held up my end of the bargain. From the bottom of my heart, thank you."

He averaged 10 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and had 30 blocks and 36 steals while starting all 37 games. Reached the 1,000-point career milestone during the NIT game at George Mason.
Davis reached 1,000 points for his collegiate career during Bradley's win at George Mason in the second round of the NIT.
His final season at BU included 44% shooting from 3-point range and 30 blocks with 36 steals. He moves on having gone to two Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship games and three straight NIT runs with the Braves.
Biliew appeared in 24 games over parts of three seasons with the Braves as a deep reserve, and was a beloved figure within the team. He had one career start, and in 2024-25 appeared in seven games and averaged 1.7 minutes.
Davis and Biliew follow forward Almar Atlason into the transfer portal.
