Veteran Boston Celtics big man Al Horford is making a difference in the communities of Boston and the Dominican Republic. The NCAA and NBA champion has already had himself a Hall of Fame career, and no one would bat an eye if he had ridden off into the sunset to enjoy the fruits of his labors after helping the Celtics win Banner 18.
But Horford has instead been hard at work paying forward the sort of opportunities that helped the Florida alum get to where he is today, and he recently sat down with the folks behind the official "Boston Celtics" YouTube channel put together a clip detailing how he's been giving back to greater Boston and his native Dominican Republic.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear more about what Horford had to say about the good he's been up to off the court.
