Boston Celtics backup big man Luke Kornet just destroyed the San Antonio Spurs with a career night that saw him do so with 15 points, 16 rebounds -- the most he has ever pulled down at the NBA level -- 4 assists, and a steal. The game, a Boston road tilt that the Celtics won 121-111 on this past Saturday (March 29) night, was probably closer than it should have been given where each of the two teams are at in terms of their health and contention cycle.
But things likely would have been much tighter between San Antonio and Boston if not for the huge game the Celtics got from the Vanderbilt alum.
The hosts of the CLNS Media "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below!
