A lot of younger fans of the Boston Celtics may not even be aware of the fact that NBC Sports Boston broadcaster Brian Scalabrine used to play the sport he now covers -- never mind having won a title for the Celtics in their 'Ubuntu' era with Hall of Famers Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce. But The Truth once sat down with the folks behind the "NBC Sports Boston" YouTube channel to put together a clip highlighting White Mamba's time in green and white.
The USC alum had plenty of game and plenty more trash to talk to go with it, and Pierce gave us the full story of his time playing with Scal in the clip embedded below.
