Sophomore forward Macaleab Rich, who all but disappeared from the Wildcats' rotation in the second half of the season, is leaving after two years in Manhattan, according to On3 Sports.

Rich, an athletic 6-foot-7, 235-pound wing best known for his explosive jumping ability and crowd-pleasing dunks, played sporadically in his two seasons, showing flashes of promise but never completely gaining K-State coach Jerome Tang's trust. Rich, the lone returning member of Tang's 2023 recruiting class, averaged 5.9 points and 2.2 points in his 13 appearances this season. His best game was a 20-point performance at Wichita State on Dec. 21, but the Wildcats were blown out by the Shockers, 84-65.
