After a weekend series loss on the road at rival Auburn, the Alabama Crimson Tide's spot in the latest USA TODAY Sports College Baseball Coaches Poll has now been officially revealed.
With the latest updated being released Monday afternoon, Alabama remained in the Top 10 teams nationally even despite the series loss, falling two spots from No. 8 to No. 10. Auburn, who took two-of-three from Alabama on their home field, rose five spots up to No. 12 in the nation.
In addition to the series loss at Auburn this past weekend, Alabama also played one other game over the last week, which was an 11-9 home win over Samford on Tuesday, April 1. With these results, the Crimson Tide now sit at 27-6 overall for the season, as well as 7-5 in SEC play.
Alabama's next game will come this upcoming Tuesday at home against Southern Miss, who are ranked No. 24 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide will also host Mississippi State for a three-game set in Tuscaloosa this weekend.
