We are approaching the start of the high school girls lacrosse season in Seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine, and players and teams are poised to showcase their talents.
One player from each of the 10 Seacoast high school teams has been nominated by their coaches for the Seacoast Preseason Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year, presented by York County Community College as part of the Athletes of the Week program.

Voting can be completed through the ballot below. Voting closes at midnight Thursday, April 10.

The winner will be announced in a story published Friday, April 11 at seacoastonline.com/sports and fosters.com/sports.
Who are the nominees?
Sarah Carven, Traip Academy, senior, midfielder
Carven scored 29 goals, and had 108 groundballs and 76 draw controls last season, and was named Traip's Most Valuable Player award winner.
Caroline DeSantis, Oyster River High School, sophomore, midfielder
DeSantis, according to Oyster River head coach Morgan Bianco, is an amazing athlete who will be a key piece in the team's offense this season.
Charlotte De Tolla, St. Thomas Aquinas, junior, midfield
De Tolla, entering her third year on varsity, had 71 goals and 24 assists last season for the Saints.
Ava Fontaine, York High School, senior, midfielder
Fontaine had 12 goals and six assists in York's two playoff games last season.
Lily Hunt, Dover High School, senior, attack
Hunt reached the 100-point milestone last season, and was on pace to score 100 goals last year before sustaining a season-ending injury.
Sky Mace, Winnacunnet High School, senior, midfielder
Mace had 59 goals and 39 assists last season, earning Division I all-state first-team honors. Mace enters her final season with 98 goals and 79 assists.
