The Vikings offseason has been dominated by discussions around the quarterback position once again. This time, we know who could be the quarterback compared to this time last year. Despite that, we have still had to deal with swirling rumors regarding the addition of Aaron Rodgers.
On Wednesday, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah spoke with Tom Pelissero of NFL Media and their 2024 top draft pick was discussed.
McCarthy is coming off a torn meniscus, which required one surgery and a second procedure to clean it up further. Despite all that, the Vikings general manager shared that McCarthy is ""He's been in a great spot. Every checkpoint he's exceeded." Hearing that positive news from the man who is the second most invested person in his health, outside of McCarthy himself, is reassuring.
McCarthy will be stepping into a team that is ready to get the most out of him after the offseason they had. They revamped their offensive line, brought back Aaron Jones, and added Jordan Mason, and all their skill players are healthy.
No better situation for a new quarterback coming into the 2025 season in the NFL.
