Jim Harbaugh sends a message to Vikings fans about J.J. McCarthy

The work that J.J. McCarthy and Jim Harbaugh did while at Michigan together led them on the path to a national championship for the them and the school. The next chapter for both of them was heading to the NFL. While Harbaugh enjoyed a playoff season with the Chargers, McCarthy had to rehab his knee following a torn meniscus.

On Monday, Vikings fans got to hear the former Michigan coach talk about their new quarterback. Dane Mizutano of The Pioneer Press shared on social media that Harbaugh was asked at the Annual NFL Meetings about the ability for the new Vikings starter to fight through adversity.

The Chargers head coach gave a glowing endorsement, saying, "He’s an elite competitor. He’ll compete. I love that about JJ. There’s nothing he’s afraid of.”

For someone coming back from two knee procedures, while dealing with Aaron Rodgers drama, this has to be music to Vikings fans ears.
