Berlin Brothersvalley and Windber earned softball wins on Monday. The LHAC named its winter sports all-conference selections and announced it has adopted Unified Bocce as an official Laurel Highland Athletic Conference sport. A league champion will be recognized starting in the 2025-26 season.

Berlin Brothersvalley 13, Everett 8: Elena Ritchey had a double, home run, three RBIs and scored three runs, helping the Mountaineers past the Warriors.
Cayley Poorbaugh tallied two hits, including a double and three RBIs while Sydney Walker homered and drove in two runs for Berlin. Coral Prosser and Elsie Barna added two hits.
Windber 7, Portage 4: Kaylie Gaye provided two hits, two RBIs and a run scored while Nici Costlow added a pair of hits, an RBI and a run to guide the Ramblers past the Mustangs.
Maggie Manippo and Rylee Baer each drove in a run for Windber. Skylee Miller struck out nine to earn the win.
LHAC winter sports all-conference
Somerset wrestler Rowan Holmes (285), girls basketball player Eve Housley (LHAC West first team), and swimmer Emert Rugg (100-yard butterfly) all earned conference selections in their respective sports.
