Titans tip their draft hand by cancelling pre-draft visit with Shedeur Sanders

The Tennessee Titans have sent the surest sign yet of what they're going to do with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Titans and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders agreed to cancel their pre-draft visit, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans own website.

Sanders is seen as the most viable competition for Miami QB Cam Ward as the Titans' pick at the top of the draft. While the rumors and reports have indicated for weeks that the Titans brass leans heavily toward Ward, not even meeting with Sanders sends what appears to be a clear message that GM Mike Borgonzi and head coach Brian Callahan have made up their minds on Ward. Or rather, made up their minds that Sanders isn't who they covet with the franchise-altering pick.

Sanders has current projections all over the place, from No. 2 (Cleveland), No. 3 (the Giants) all the way to the beginning of the second round.
