With UCLA pass rusher Oluwafemi Oladejo coming to town for a Top 30 visit, Tennessee is taking a look at another linebacker who has experience both as an inside linebacker and an edge. This versatility trait has been a constant throughout the process.
After starting his career as an off-ball linebacker at Cal, he transferred to UCLA and transitioned from inside linebacker to edge. At UCLA, Oladejo displayed athleticism and developed into a dynamic playmaker on the edge. He is raw as a pass rusher but has flashed enough potential to be worthy of a late-round pick, even with an undeveloped pass rush arsenal.
Because of his athletic profile, positional versatility, and football IQ, Oladejo should be able to come in and compete on special teams on Day 1. At the same time, he continues to work with the coaching staff to refine his skills on the edge. Plus, his experience gives him a chance to carve out a role early in his career in sub-package football.
