Saints are the betting favorite to draft Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders

Kellen Moore wasn't present at Colorado's pro day. It was an interesting choice, as the New Orleans Saints are clearly in the quarterback business. Moore has made time to see Jaxson Dart, Will Howard and Quinn Ewers, but he didn't do the same to see Shedeur Sanders.

You could argue Moore didn't expect Sanders to reach the ninth pick in the NFL draft, but he still made time to see Cam Ward. Also, there have been whispers around whether or not Sanders will slide in the draft.

FanDuel Sportsbook certainly expects a slide is on the way, and they weren't swayed by Moore's absence in Boulder, Co. They still gave the Saints the best odds to land Sanders over the Cleveland Browns, who hold the second overall pick.

That's what's interesting about the projection of Sanders being the pick in the first round. New Orleans is the last team in need of a quarterback in the top-10, so that means all the other squads would have to pass on Sanders. That includes the Browns, New York Giants and New York Jets. The Saints having better odds of landing Sanders than all of those teams.

Outside the top-10, FanDuel lists the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Rams as having worse odds than the Saints. The Steelers having better odds than the Browns and Jets tells you exactly how they view Sanders' draft stock, or at least how their view is perceived from the outside looking in. Oddsmakers think it's more likely Sanders falls out of the top-10 than goes top-5. What do you think?
