3 best landing spots for Shedeur Sanders if he slides in the 1st round

Early in the college football season, University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders was convinced his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders would be the first or second overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. And for a while it felt like he might be right.

But as the season went on and the offseason has continued, it seems teams have cooled on Sanders as a can't-miss prospect for the 2025 NFL draft. The Tennessee Titans canceled their predraft visit with Sanders and seem locked in on Miami quarterback Cam Ward.

If Sanders does start a slide in the first round, meaning past the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants, how far could he fall? Here are the three most likely landing spots if Sanders falls out of the Top three.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders added Geno Smith but Las Vegas feels like the perfect team and the perfect city for Sanders and the spectacle he brings.

New Orleans Saints

Are the Saints sold on Spencer Rattler as the long-term answer Derek Carr moves on? If not, this is another team that could bring in Sanders and give him time to develop before putting him on the field.

Pittsburgh Steelers

If Sanders falls all the way to pick No. 21, Pittsburgh has to consider him whether Aaron Rodgers signs or not. Quartebrack play has held this team back since Ben Roethlisberger retired and Sanders needs a coach like Mike Tomlin.
