Texas A&M's 2024-2025 basketball season ended last weekend in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, leading to an offseason filled with questions amid the eight seniors who will officially depart the program at the end of the school year, including the program's all-time leading scorer Wade Taylor IV.
While these roster losses have been a known fact since the start of the season, head coach Buzz Williams's future with the program is now in question after rumors regarding Maryland's loss to Florida in the Sweet 16 could potentially result in his move to take over the vacant Villanova coaching position as soon as next week, connecting Williams to move to the Big Ten.
However, nothing is set in stone, and Willard has yet to make a move, so until then, Williams and his staff have continued to contact players from the transfer portal, including former UCF scoring wing Keyshawn Hall, who the Aggies offered out of high school, making his final five program list as well.
During the 2024 season, Hall, who faced Texas A&M to open the year, led the Knights in scoring with 18.8 points per game, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. The Aggies require playmakers at every position. Hall would be an immediate upgrade who could make a similar or even more significant impact as Dexter Dennis did two seasons ago.
