2026 5-star safety feels like a 'priority' after his recent visit to Texas A&M

Texas A&M and head coach Mike Elko are looking to land one of the more elite defensive backs in the 2026 recruiting class, and after last weekend's busy visiting weekend, that could come to fruition sooner than later. 2026 five-star safety Bralan Womack is one of the best athletes in the cycle, and outside of Ohio State and Auburn, Texas A&M is clearly in the running for his commitment.

After visiting this weekend, Womack is set to take his first official visit to College Station on June 6, and after speaking with On3' Chad Simmons, Womack provided a quote that speaks volumes regarding Elko and his staff's dedication to making the elite safety prospect feel at home every time he visits.

“They make sure I feel like I’m a priority.”

Womack is no doubt a priority prospects for the Aggies, knowing that prospects with his speed, vision, and wide receiver skillset would result in immediate playing time in a future Texas A&M secondary that will feature several future starters from the 2025 signing class.

On the field, Womack earned his five-star status after recording 39 tackles and 8 INTs on defense while adding 54 recpeptoins for 1,045 yards and 13 TDs on offense, showcasing his versatility which should continue into his senior season.

According to 247Sports, Womack is currently positioned as the 12th-ranked prospects, the No. 1-ranked safety prospect, and the No. 2-ranked prosepct in Mississippi.
