The 2025 NFL Draft could be a big one for the Los Angeles Rams.
With Matthew Stafford back under center, Davante Adams on the outside and a young and talented defense, Sean McVay's squad looks like one of the better teams in the NFL. Now, L.A. has the chance to build on that roster and really contend for a championship in 2025.
That's why Yahoo Sports' Matt Harmon and Frank Schwab named the Rams as a team that's one good draft away from winning the Super Bowl this season.
"If they have another one of those drafts where you can fix the cornerback situation," Schwab said, "the Rams go from the best team in the NFC West to maybe one of the best teams in the NFC."
In the past two years, the Rams revamped their defense with star-studded drafts. L.A. added Byron Young and Kobie Turner in 2023 before adding Jared Verse and Braden Fiske in 2024 after Aaron Donald retired. And this offseason, the Rams brought in Poona Ford to add run-stopping ability to the defensive front.
The only thing really missing from this team is secondary help, which Schwab pointed to as the team's No. 1 priority in this draft. But at the end of the day, Stafford makes this team go, and Schwab contends that his consistent play will push the Rams to both defend their NFC West title and contend with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC.
