We're less than two weeks away from the NFL draft, and while the Ravens have a handful of needs, a running back is the least of the worries for the Super Bowl hopefuls.
The Baltimore Ravens have started their off-season plans. As the organization looks to regroup and keep their Super Bowl window open, they'll need to retool through the draft and could have 11 picks in April's selection process.
We're previewing prospects that could become future Ravens.
We're starting with the running back position. Baltimore has Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, Keaton Mitchell, and Rasheen Ali, all under contract for next season.
With Round 1 fast approaching, we're looking at one running back for the Ravens in every draft round.
Round 1: Omarion Hampton, UNC
Hampton has an incredible blend of power, quickness, and speed. He forcefully runs behind his pads and bursts through narrow seams between the tackles. With 1,026 rush yards after contact, he ranked third in the nation.
Round 2: Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State
Ohio State's backfield was incredible last season, with Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson forming a dynamic duo. Judkins led the Buckeyes in rush yards last season (1,060 to Henderson's 1,016), thanks to an explosive, physical running style that helps him run through tackles. Judkins saved his best for last, logging 121 scrimmage yards and three TDs in the national championship win over Notre Dame.
Round 3: Devin Neal, RB, Kansas
At 5-foot-11, 215 pounds, Neal is a versatile dual-threat out of the backfield. He fits multiple schemes and can be a one-cut-and-go player in zone-based systems while also having the patience and vision to run behind pulling guards in a gap-based run scheme.
Round 4: Damien Martinez, RB, Miami
Martinez, who ran for a career-high 179 yards in Miami's loss to Iowa State in the Pop-Tarts Bowl, announced he is foregoing his senior year and declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Martinez, a two-time All-Pac 12 First Team pick in his first two years at Oregon State, rushed for a team-high 1,002 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.3 yards per carry with career-highs in receptions (17) and receiving yards (204) while playing all 13 games for the Hurricanes this past season.
Round 5: Jarquez Hunter, RB, Auburn
Hunter was one of the best running backs in the SEC over the past few years. He finished his 2024 season with 1,201 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. In 2023, he ran for over 900 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. In 2021 and 2022, Hunter finished with over 500 rushing yards each year.
Round 6: Marcus Yarns, RB, Delaware
Yarns is a dynamic running back with good quickness, vision, and elusiveness at 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds. Yarns finished his UD career with 2,344 rushing yards and 3,156 all-purpose yards, scoring 34 total touchdowns.
