Mother's Day is officially less than a month away, and the Kansas City Chiefs' players are already getting a head start on honoring their maternal figures during the offseason.
In a video shared on the team's official social media channels, Chiefs offensive lineman Chukwuebuka Godrick discussed how his mother helped him transition from Nigeria to the United States.
Godrick, who has played in Kansas City since 2023, immigrated to America from Lagos, Nigeria to play professional football as part of the NFL International Player Pathway.
Check out everything the rising offensive lineman had to say in this video, which was posted to Twitter on Saturday, April 12:

Though Godrick hasn't yet gotten a chance to put his talent on display with the Chiefs during the regular season, fans should expect to see more of him this summer when Kansas City's offseason workouts begin.
Stay tuned to see if Godrick, with the support of his beloved mother, can rise to the occasion over the next few months to earn a spot on the Chiefs' 53-man roster in 2025.
