No. 4 FSU baseball vs. No. 23 Wake Forest: Live score updates from ACC showdown

Florida State baseball hosts Wake Forest for a high-powered ACC clash at Dick Howser Stadium.

The No. 4 Seminoles (24-4) face the No. 23 Demon Deacons in a primetime matchup on Friday, with an 8 p.m. first pitch scheduled. FSU's Marching Chiefs will be in attendance for the game, something the band did for last season's home game against Florida.

It's a matchup between two of the top teams in the conference, with both programs ranking near the top of major statistical categories in the conference.

The Seminoles come into the Wake Forest series on the back of three straight ACC series wins, good for a 7-2 conference record, and the Seminoles have won three straight. The Demon Deacons were swept by Virginia Tech last weekend and bounced back with a midweek win over High Point.

Jamie Arnold will start for the Seminoles on Friday against Wake Forest's Luke Schmolke.
