Results are in from this week's Montgomery Advertiser's athlete of the week poll, sponsored by The Vance Law Firm.
Montgomery Academy's Tanner Bartgis won 99% of the boys vote after he scored four goals in one game in a 12-0 win against JAG on March 28. On the girls side, Prattville Christian's Chloe Hollon had three hits and two RBIs in an area win over LAMP on March 29, earning herself 76% of the vote.
Nominees for athlete of the week come from the top performers of the week before. To nominate a top performer, have your team's coach or stat keeper email sports@montgomeryadvertiser.com by 10 p.m. CT Friday.
Voting opens every Monday morning and will remain open until noon Thursday.
