The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly met virtually with Syracuse defensive end Fadil Diggs, according to Justin Melo of The Draft Network.
During the pre-draft process, teams can host up to 30 prospects on official visits, but they are able to have unlimited virtual meetings.
Diggs measures in at 6-043 and weighs 257 pounds. He posted an elite Relative Athletic Score (RAS) of 9.35.
The 2024 season was Diggs' first at Syracuse. He spent his first four collegiate seasons playing at Texas A&M and has totaled 1,662 career snaps.
This past year was Diggs' most productive, as he totaled 42 pressures and eight sacks, according to PFF. He's also graded out as an above-average run defender by PFF's metrics during his career.
"I’m absolutely comfortable in the run game," Diggs told Melo in an interview. "I’m always working to improve every aspect of my game. I love being physical. I’m definitely capable of stopping the run. I welcome that violence in the trenches."
The defensive line is a position group where we are likely to see the Jaguars invest multiple draft picks into.
