Isa Torres needed to put a ball in play to give Florida State softball a walk-off win on Saturday.
With the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, she delivered. A single to left field scored the game-winning run to give FSU a 5-4 win over North Carolina State.
The No. 8 Seminoles (32-5) remain perfect in ACC play (8-0) and have won 12 straight games. It's the second walk-off win of the season, with the last coming in the 5-4 win over Southeastern LouisianaState on Feb. 21.

FSU survived a late comeback from NC State, who scored three runs in the sixth inning to push the game into extra innings after the Seminoles had failed to score in the sixth and seventh innings.
NC State scored the game's first run with an RBI single in the first inning, however, the Seminoles quickly erased the deficit with two runs in the home half of the inning.
Jaysoni Beachum doubled after a leadoff bunt single from Isa Torres to score the shortstop. Later in the inning, Katie Dack hit an RBI single to give FSU a 2-1 lead.
The Seminoles added two more runs in the third inning as Dack hit a two-run home run, her 10th of the season, to push the lead to 4-1.
NC State hit a pair of singles in the sixth inning to tie the game. Hannah Church hit an RBI single to get things started before Hannah Goodwin's two RBI single tied the game at four.
After a scoreless seventh inning from both teams, the Seminoles worked comfortably through the Wolfpack lineup in the eighth inning. Kenneday Harp led off the home half of the inning with a walk, which was followed by Kritina Hartley being hit by a pitch, giving FSU runners on first and second with Angelee Bueno at the plate.
She hit into a fielder's choice, reaching first base. Annabelle Widra walked to load the bases and set up Torres for her late-game heroics. ...
