The Sandwich boys lacrosse team has its first win of the season.
The Blue Knights (1-1) defeated Mashpee (2-1), 15-3, on Thursday.
Cole Rodgers (seven goals, one assist), Reece MacKinnon (two goals, one assist), Kurt Moniz (two goals), Nick Pearce (one goal, one assist), Braeden Tobin (one goal), Luke Rodgers (one goal), and Ethan Fife (one goal) led the Blue Knights offense.
Than Hunt (four saves) and Liam Hallett (two saves) played well in net.

Boys Lacrosse
St. John Paul II 19, Cape Cod Academy 13: The Lions (2-1) beat the Seahawks (0-2) for their second straight victory.
Monomoy 11, Dennis-Yarmouth 7: The Sharks (2-0) handed the Dolphins (1-1) their first loss.
Tamer Khalil led the way for the Sharks with two goals and three assists. Aidan Stone, Jackson Rocco, Harry Michaud, and Izaiah Freeman each had two goals and an assist. Colin Valero scored his first varsity goal. Jake Giorgio had 15 saves, and Jed Zimmerman played excellent defense with a handful of caused turnovers.
Seekonk 21, Sturgis East 10: The Storm (0-3) lost for the third time this season.
Girls Lacrosse
Sandwich 16, Mashpee 2: The Blue Knights (2-0) stayed perfect by beating the Falcons (2-2).
Monomoy 13, Dennis-Yarmouth 6: The Sharks (2-0) topped the Dolphins (1-2).
