Tuesday's softball highlights: Revere rallies to win

  • REVERE 5, TALLMADGE 4: With no outs, Revere scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to take a Suburban League American Conference game. Ashley Gardner pitched the entire game for the Minutemen (2-1, 1-0) to earn the win. Her battery mate Mattie Diaz went 3-for-3 at bat, while Paige Kelley hit three singles and scored twice. Tallmadge is now 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the league.

Tuesday's baseball highlights

  • KENT ROOSEVELT 10, CUYAHOGA FALLS 0: In five innings, Tristyn Page struck out 13 and allowed no Falls runs on two hits and two walks in Kent Roosevelt's Suburban League-opening win. Page is 1-0, while the Rough Riders even their record to 1-1 overall.
  • JACKSON 6, GREEN 1: Jackson's Landon Doll recorded 10 strikeouts in four innings of work to pace the Polar Bears (3-0, 1-0) to a Federal League win at Green. Dylan Lahr hit a home run and double to top Jackson's offense.
  • HOOVER 5, LAKE 2: The Vikings came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the host Blue Streaks (0-1, 0-1) in a Federal League game. Jack Andes earned the save in relief of Jake Donaldson (1-0). Andes led Hoover's (2-1, 1-0) offense with three hits, two runs batted in and three stolen bases.

Tuesday's girls lacrosse highlights

  • CVCA 9, HOLY NAME 3: Sam Anderson scored four times to lead the Royals to a North Coast Conference win. Ellia Crecco and Gabby Wilcox each added a pair of goals for CVCA.

Tuesday's boys lacrosse highlights

  • WADSWORTH 8, BRECKSVILLE 0: Wadsworth keeper Ben Fisher stopped all seven Brecksville shots as the Grizzlies improved to 3-0 with Tuesday's shutout. Preston Davis scored three goals and had two assists for visitors.

Monday's baseball highlights: Will Tober leads STVM to win

  • ST. VINCENT-ST. MARY 8, CLOVERLEAF 1: Sophomore right-hander Will Tober threw an 82-pitch complete game, allowing a run on five hits and a walk as the Fighting Irish improved to 2-0. Logan Henderson and Quinn Yori each hit a single and double for the hosts
