The Georgia Bulldogs have missed four-star running back Javian Osborne's top schools group. Osborne is ranked as the No. 79 recruit in the nation, the No. 6 running back and is a top 10 recruit in Texas, according to ESPN's recruiting rankings.
The 5-foot-9 195-pound running back is a member of the 2026 recruiting cycle. He plays high school football for Forney High School in Forney, Texas.
Osborne top two schools are Michigan and Notre Dame. The four-star running back visited Georgia in March and Georgia was viewed as a contender to get Osborne to come to Athens, but now it appears that he won't commit to UGA. The talented running back is projected to commit to the Michigan, per 247Sports.
Osborne's decision to remove UGA from his top schools group comes as Georgia looking to add other running backs into the 2026 class. Georgia is among the top contenders to land five-star running back recruit Savion Hiter.
Georgia is also in a major competition with Miami for other elite running back recruit Derrick Cooper. Osborne going to Michigan would be a huge get for Michigan because they have Justice Haynes as their starting running back. Haynes could enter the NFL draft after this upcoming season.
