The Georgia Bulldogs are in talks with another elite wide receiver recruit. Four-star WR Travis Johnson listed Georgia football in his top seven schools, according to Hayes Fawcett. He also listed Penn State, North Carolina, Michigan, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Indiana among his top schools.
Johnson is a four-star wide receiver from the class of 2026. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver plays high school football for Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Johnson still hasn't scheduled an official visit to Georgia yet, but he has scheduled visits with Indiana, South Carolina, Penn State, and Michigan. Curiously enough, he hasn't scheduled a visit with Virginia Tech yet, even though the campus is the closest to his hometown.
Georgia is hunting for more class of 2026 recruits on the offensive side of the ball. The Bulldogs have just three commitment recruits (Vance Spafford, Lincoln Keyes, Brady Marchese) on offense, but they're still in the running for top offensive line prospect Jackson Cantwell. Georgia decommit Jared Curtis is more than likely going to choose between Georgia and Oregon on May 5.
Johnson is the 3rd ranked prospect from Virginia and the 19th ranked wide receiver prospect in the nation. The talented pass catcher is the No. 137 recruit in the nation.
