Devin White was the Bucs' first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He would win a Super Bowl with the team, but his success with the team would very quickly spiral downward before an inevitable divorce between the two. Fast-forward to the present day, and a former Bucs executive is giving White a second chance now that he is the general manager of his own team.
Fox Sports insider Jordan Schultz shared that the Bucs' former top draft pick was heading west and signing with the Las Vegas Raiders.
After leaving the Bucs, White would sign with the Eagles, but that stint would be short-lived. He has since played for the Texans as well before now landing with the Raiders. John Spytek, the general manager of the Raiders, worked in the Bucs front office when they drafted White in 2019. If anyone knows how and what it takes to make White successful and be a worthwhile signing, it is Spytek.
This will be White's last and best chance to find success in the NFL at this point.
