Bucs set up visit with top-end SEC edge rusher ahead of NFL Draft

NFL Draft visits are rolling on, and the Bucs are reported to be staying busy in the process. Up to this point, they have visited many defensive players, which makes sense, considering their needs and their work in free agency.

A new report from ESPN's Jordan Reid suggests that the team is now being linked to a prominent SEC pass rusher with one of their latest visits.

The ESPN draft analyst was speaking to Ole Miss's Princely Umanmielen on SEC Network and asked him who was showing the most interest in him. He named the Packers, Falcons, Panthers, and Bucs as showing the most interest and doing the most work on him.

All these teams make sense for being in on the SEC pass-rusher, but Bucs fans can hope he lands with them rather than having to play him twice a year. Umanmielen has some good hand placement and fighting ability to shed blockers, but where he thrives is jumping off the ball when it is snapped and beating defenders into the backfield before they get out of their stance.

The Bucs could use that type speed off the edge opposite Haason Reddick.
