Falcons to meet with Georgia offensive lineman ahead of 2025 NFL draft

The Atlanta Falcons are set to visit with another prospect ahead of the 2025 NFL draft, which is now just two weeks away. According to the Draft Network's Ryan Fowler, the Falcons will meet with Georgia offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild at their local pro day.

The team has a hole at center and while Fairchild played exclusively at guard in college, he could be a good developmental backup option for Atlanta. In 2024, the Falcons called upon veteran backup Ryan Neuzil to fill in for Drew Dalman at center. Neuzil played well enough that he will likely start for the team in 2025.

Adding offensive line depth may not seem like a priority but it should be since Atlanta has two highly paid veteran offensive tackles and one of the highest-paid guards in the league. Fairchild recently visited with the Detroit Lions and will soon head to Seattle to meet with the Seahawks, per Fowler.

It won't be long before the team needs to pay left guard Matthew Bergeron, so it wouldn't hurt to add some more depth along the interior of the offensive line. The problem is the Falcons only have five picks in the 2025 NFL draft. With two picks in the seventh round, Fairchild could be an option for Atlanta on Day 3 of the draft.

The Falcons are also expected to meet with Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond and UCF defensive back BJ Adams.
