Seahawks host pre-draft meeting with productive pass rusher

The Seattle Seahawks are entering the 2025 NFL draft well stocked at the pass-rushing positions. Mike Macdonald's defense finished tied for eighth in sacks last season with 45 quarterback takedowns. In 2025, the Seahawks will return 2024's leading top-four sack artists in Leonard Williams (11), Derick Hall (8), Boye Mafe (6) and Jarran Reed (4.5).

General manager John Schneider also signed DeMarcus Lawrence in free agency to replace salary cap casualty Dre'Mont Jones. The team is also expecting Uchenna Nwosu back after he missed the majority of 2024 with injury. Despite being fairly loaded at the position, the Seahawks continue to show interest in pass rushers in the 2025 NFL draft.
