Tennessee Titans had a pre-draft virtual meeting with Maryland WR Tai Felton

Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi has said that the team will attack the wide receiver position before the start of the season, both in the draft and in the final stages of free agency.聽

Throughout the pre-draft process, they have entertained multiple prospects and are using every avenue to add some depth to the receiving corps. The latest receiver connected to the Titans is Maryland wideout Tai Felton, who recently conducted a virtual meeting with the team.聽

Felton may not garner the same excitement as the top names at the position heading into the draft, but he is a versatile prospect that has starter upside. Even though he is 6-foot-1, 183-pounds, he looks like a Day 1 contributor in the slot where he can utilize his elite speed and route running skills to pressure defenses.聽

Because of his frame and size limitations, he enters the league as more of a developmental prospect that needs to add some functional strength before assuming a three-down role in the NFL. If he can add some bulk without limiting his athleticism, he has a chance to be one of the best receivers coming out of this class.聽

The Titans need help at wide receiver both outside and in the slot, and Felton is a name that could come up in conversations early on Day 3 if he is still on the board.聽
