The Lions continue to plow through their 30 allotted pre-draft visits. One of the latest confirmed visitors to Allen Park is a small-school sack artists who previously met with the Lions at the Senior Bowl.
David Walker from Central Arkansas verified with Justin Melo of the Draft Network that he had a formal visit with the Lions. Detroit is one of several teams to meet with Walker, who posted over 30 career sacks for the Bears, an FCS-level program.
Walker lacks the typical length the Lions covet at EDGE, at just 6-foot-1 and with arm length under 32 inches. He makes up for it with explosive power-to-speed pass rush off the edge and very impressive overall athletic ability.
.@UCA_Football ED David Walker produced 10.5 sacks in 2024, 31.5 sacks in three campaigns.
