The Tennessee Titans made some adjustments to player personnel during the initial wave of free agency, but there is still a lot of work to be done. The 2025 NFL draft is less than two weeks away now, and while the Titans have essentially nailed down Miami's Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick, they have seven other picks to utilize.
One of the areas of opportunity for the Titans is at the wide receiver position, which is why the Titans have scheduled a Top 30 visit with Missouri wideout Luther Burden III.

Burden is considered by many to be a 1st Round talent who could potentially slip into the top of Day 2.

At 5-foot-11, Burden will struggle against taller corners in the NFL and has a history of drops on contested catches. However, what he lacks in size, he makes up for in speed and athleticism. He's the third-ranked wideout in the draft for a reason, having led the Tigers with 61 receptions for 649 yards and six touchdowns in 2024. He opted not to play in the team's bowl game in preparation for the NFL draft.
The majority of the balls tossed to Burden were targeted inside 10 yards, making him an excellent slot target for Cam Ward. Burden's ability to create additional yardage after the catch is what makes him truly special, but he will need to work on his consistency and ability to create separation.
If the Titans want Burden to join their squad, they'll have to select him in the second round. Without a third-round pick, they may be forced to spend their second-round pick on a player they'd prefer to wait for in other circumstances. But first, they have to meet with him next week to see if he's a fit for the team.
