Notre Dame's offense has really gotten rolling after a slow start in the Blue-Gold spring game.
Quarterback Steve Angeli -- the veteran who is duking it out with Kenny Minchey and CJ Carr for the starting job -- found freshman wide receiver Scrap Richardson for a 16-yard touchdown pass.
The offense -- Blue team -- won 76-31 over the defense -- Gold team -- under the new scoring system.
The Fighting Irish offense struggled to finish drives early. All three QBs helped the offense move the ball, and running back Jadarian Price looked good, but penalties and sacks ended most drives right around the edge of the red zone. Finally, though, the Irish got rolling.
The defense did have one interception, but as the day went on, the offense looked like it finally was untracked.
