The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been attached to several secondary players throughout the NFL Draft process. Whether through mock drafts or insider reports, the team seems to be in on adding to its secondary despite the recent additions of Tykee Smith and Zyon McCollum.
A new report now has the Bucs attached to one of the top cornerback prospects in the form of a scheduled visit.
Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network reported that Shavon Revel, out of East Carolina, has scheduled visits with several teams, one of which is the Bucs. The visit will come over two days from April 12th to the 13th. Revel would not be expected to last to the Bucs at 19 had he not torn his ACL this year, but now he may be available for them when they draft in round two.
Even if Revel were to take a year to heal up and get back to his normal self, there is no better tackling cornerback in the draft. The former East Carolina Pirate is also one of the best in man coverage, showing tremendous ability to be able to operate outside opposite Zyon McCollum.
